1. Handmade Nature of Our Products
All wreaths sold by Steve's Wreath Decs are individually handcrafted using high-quality artificial flowers, foliage, and accessories. Because each item is made by hand, slight variations in colour, arrangement, and dimensions compared to product photographs are normal and are not considered a fault. Some product images use AI-generated or styled backgrounds; the images of the wreaths themselves are real photographs.
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your wreath arrives damaged during transit or has a genuine manufacturing defect, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it. To process your claim, we require all of the following:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- Clear photographs showing the damage or fault (including packaging if transit damage)
- A brief description of the issue
Claims submitted without photographs, or after the 14-day window, may not be accepted. Once we have reviewed and accepted your claim, we will offer, at our discretion, either:
- A replacement wreath sent free of charge, or
- A full refund to your original payment method
We reserve the right to request the damaged item be returned before issuing a replacement or refund. In such cases, return postage for faulty items will be covered by us.
3. Change of Mind Returns
Because our wreaths are handcrafted items, we do not routinely accept returns for change of mind. However, we may consider a return at our sole discretion if all of the following conditions are met:
- You contact us within 14 days of receiving the item
- The wreath is unused, undisplayed, unaltered, and in its original undamaged packaging
- The item is returned at the buyer's expense using a tracked delivery service
- The wreath is received back by us in the same condition it was sent
If a change-of-mind return is accepted, a refund will be issued minus the original delivery cost and a 15% restocking fee to cover materials, labour, and packaging. Items returned in a condition other than described above (displayed, damaged by the buyer, missing packaging) will not be refunded and will be returned to the buyer at their expense.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for change of mind under any circumstances:
- Bespoke or custom orders made to the buyer's specification (size, colour scheme, or design)
- Sale or clearance items marked as final sale at the time of purchase
- Items altered or personalised after purchase
All non-returnable items are still fully covered by our damaged or faulty items policy in section 2.
5. How to Request a Return

Important: Please do not send items back without contacting us first and receiving a return authorisation. Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned to the sender at their expense. We will provide a return address and any instructions once your request has been reviewed and approved.
6. Condition of Returned Items
All returned items are inspected upon receipt. We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount or refuse a refund entirely if:
- The wreath has been displayed, hung, or used outdoors
- Flowers, foliage, or accessories have been removed, bent, or damaged by the buyer
- The original packaging is missing or damaged
- The item has been exposed to moisture, pets, smoke, or other environmental damage
7. Refund Processing Times
- Damaged/faulty items: Refund or replacement arranged within 5 working days of accepting your claim.
- Change of mind returns: Refund issued within 7-10 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
- All refunds are returned to your original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer). Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
8. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your wreath for a different design, please contact us. Exchanges are subject to availability and are handled at our discretion. The original item must be returned in the same condition as section 6 above. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly. The buyer is responsible for return postage on exchanges.
9. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only if the item has not yet been dispatched. As we are a small business and often begin preparing orders promptly, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Once an item has been posted or dispatched, the standard returns policy above applies and the order cannot be cancelled in transit.
10. Our Rights
Steve's Wreath Decs reserves the right to:
- Refuse any return or refund request that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy
- Request additional evidence (e.g. further photographs, the item itself) before processing a claim
- Update this policy at any time; the latest version will always be available on this page
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
